Shakokidogu (Shako-chan) was excavated from the Kamegaoka Site, which was registered as a World Heritage Site in July 2021. A giant Shako-chan monument welcomes visitors at the JR Kizukuri station. If you are lucky, Shako-chan’s eyes may be glowing with seven different colors.
