Inheriting Memories from the Past “Hirosaki Museum of Contemporary Art”
This museum was renovated from a sake brewery, built in the Meiji and Taisho eras. Domestic and international art works are on display. The cider-drinking contest at the adjoining restaurant is also an attraction.

A Symbol of the City that Changes Expression “Hirosaki Castle”
The cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Park, managed using apple pruning techniques, are a symbol of the city. With each season, the expression of park changes: green in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and snowy landscapes in the winter.
