Itayanagi Furusato Center
The Furusato Center was built in 1986 to revitalize the local economy through (1) developing the local apple industry (2) promoting agritourism and (3) promoting new agricultural techniques. It offers a wide range of services to visitors, from lodgings all made of cypress wood, to an art center offering craft lessons, and farm-direct sales. To further promote “a community of people and apples,” they promote “an apple village for learning, playing and staying” to help uncover a new future.
