Fujita Memorial Garden
Kenichi Fujita, a native of Hirosaki and the first head of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, had this second home built in 1921. The garden has an elevated area with a view of Mt. Iwaki, and the pleasant low-lying area blooms with irises and azaleas, with a waterfall as well. The western style building at the first floor is open for rest and enjoyment, hosting the Taisho Roman cafe serving locally-sourced dishes, along with the Craft and Japanese Cafe Takumikan offering food as well as Tsugaru handicrafts for tourists from Japan and abroad.
