Hike around the World Heritage Site / Stroll through the beech forest
This is the only place for a leisurely stroll through the World Heritage Site region, with 1.5km and 2km courses to fit your schedule and endurance. There’s also a full course encompassing both routes, if you’d like. Observe the beech trees and smaller plants of the earth to your heart’s content! From spring with fresh green plants in the lingering snow, to fall when the forest turns brilliant gold, no one could tire of the changing seasonal flavors of Shirakami-Sanchi.
