Tsugaru Shamisen Hall
Tsugaru Shamisen Hall is a multipurpose hall with display room, a stage, outdoor stage and more, dedicated to performances of Tsugaru Shamisen.
The display room has information on the roots and history of Tsugaru Shamisen, Tsugaru folk songs and folk entertainment. In the “Stringed Instruments of the World – Shamisen” area, you can hear recordings of various instrument sounds.
And of course you can have a chance to try Tsugaru Shamisen playing for yourself. Why not come and let a professional Tsugaru Shamisen player teach you to get a feel for the music first hand?
