Lion Highway
The Lion Highway is connected by the two bridges, the Lion Gate Bridge and the Lion Bay Bridge, complete with various lion statues. In conjunction with the seaward facing Lion Rock, the landmarks form an artistic collaboration between man and nature. Visitors and passersby alike will see statues of lion cubs, a winged sphinx as well as the iconic A-un Lion (A-un, Japanese transliteration of Sanskrit “A-om” used in meditation).
